LYLAC in the media
Imagine ....
Imagine .... a life where you are in control of events, where you make the decisions; where you ac
cept what happens as an opportunity to learn and move on.
Imagine how liberating and powerful that would be.....

Moving forward with what you have…
Moving forward with who you are…
Moving forward the best way you can…
Moving forward the best way you know how to…
Moving forward ... because it is the way to go…

The impact of cancer....
For most cancer survivor the battle doesn't end when treatment has finished. You might experience that cancr can:
- bring an end to a phase of your life,
- raise questions about the meaning of life,
- test the bond of relationships,
- serve as a wake up call to examine what has been resisted,
- create the opportunity to start living a more authentic life,
- give you permission to shift your priorities,
- give you a hunger for life that might not have always been there,
- give you a first-hand knowledge about the importance of living in the present
moment,
- help you realise just how insignificant most of our every day concerns are.

The impact of cancer and how it affects us is different in many ways for each of us and maybe it is good to know that it's normal and you're not alone in this.
The end of treatment is the beginning of something else; a rebuilding process that needs to be managed and directed.
This is where LYLAC (Live Your Life After Cancer) will offer you the support you need at your level, for your needs. It is created by 2 women, both cancer survivors and qualified life coaches, one also being a GP.
What have you tried already?
You might have had (some) support already after finishing your cancer treatment. There are support groups available, there is help from counselling services, you can join a fitness programme to regain your physical strenghts, you might have already changed/improved your diet, experienced the relaxation of yoga, Reiki and meditation. But where do you go with your "BIG questions" such as:
- What's next in my life?
- How can I move on from here?
- What are my priorities now?
- How can I live well after cancer?
- Who am I now?
You can still feel stuck and experience the lack of a specific support that will help you move forward in life, that will help you to rebuild your life, that will help you to make a bigger plan for your future!
This is exactly what we offer with our LYLAC programme.

This is what you might have been looking for ...
LYLAC will be the place to find answers to the above type of questions. We use life coaching as a holistic approach to help you create YOUR bigger plan and to regain zest for life.
Several studies have already shown that coaching makes lasting, positive changes in the lives of cancer survivors.
LYLAC is run by two qualified life coaches, both cancer survivors (so they fully understand what you experience) and one also being a GP. It is unique on it's own and it is proven to be effective to help you move forward after cancer. We welcome everyone, from any stage of life and any background and any type of cancer.
